Course-specific competence:	The student will: - obtain basic knowledge of health care and social welfare structures - become familiar with health care and social welfare services organized by the public and private sector - become familiar with the treatment and service chains of social and health care - understand the basic principles of health legislation in Finland and will be able to apply laws and regulations to his/her health care practice - have basic knowledge in different tehories about human development from age 0 - 20 years and about the personal development of the adult and the elderly
