This is the second edition of the Creative Music Production Master's program, consisting of 60 ECTS credits and offered in collaboration between Novia University of Applied Sciences and the Songwriters Academy of Sweden - Musikmakarna.
The program is designed for active professionals in the global music industry who wish to further their career development in creative music production. During the ongoing Master's program, students have participated in meetings with major labels, streaming platforms, renowned studios, and key industry professionals. The diverse professional and cultural backgrounds of the students create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
This program provides a unique opportunity to refine your creative profile and musical identity. Students work individually and in collaborative sessions, and they continue to work professionally in the industry while studying. Our current participants reside in various parts of the world, reflecting the truly global nature of the program.
The majority of the program is conducted online, allowing students to participate regardless of their location. Certain parts of the curriculum include on-location studies, such as songwriting camps or industry visits, providing valuable hands-on experience and networking opportunities.
The program welcomes applications from songwriters, music producers, artists, or anyone looking to develop their career within this sector of the music industry. It has a global profile with experts from different areas of the industry serving as lecturers and mentors. Throughout the program, students also have the opportunity to learn about different music and cultural centers, gaining deeper insights into the diverse global music industry and its evolving ecosystems and value chains.

Continuing Education Opportunities
With a master´s degree, students are able to continue to university post-graduate (licentiate/doctoral) studies, however universities may at their own discretion have specific admission requirements for post-graduate studies that must be met in addition to a completed Master’s degree.
