• is able to promote health in expecting and young families through supporting the clients’ awareness of health, their resources and autonomy
• can identify the client’s resources and health impediments and is able to account for the follow-up and care of the family during pregnancy, delivery and childbed
• can use resource promoting methods to support the individual and a group in issues relevant to maternity health.
