• has theoretical knowledge and practical skills in nursing practice, medication management and rehabilitation and is able to apply knowledge derived from
Nursing Science as well as medical and evidence-based knowledge in different contexts of nursing
• can plan, implement and assess his/her personal input in project work within nursing practice
• is familiar with the patient’s care chain and recognizes the significance of interprofessional collaboration in different contexts of care
• knows the basic theory of nursing pedagogy and is able to guide and instruct the patient and the next-of-kin in given situations also in Finnish and in English
• can apply and give reasons for decision making in the care process of a patient
• has the capacity to consider organizational and social factors in decision making within the professional field
• demonstrates a reflective and ethical attitude in different care contexts
• advocates sustainable development through increased safety, by economic and ecological thinking and through an awareness of the significance of cooperation with colleagues.
