Regardless of your campus, there are lots of things to see and explore in your new hometown.

In Finland, outdoor activities, such as hiking and being close to nature, are very popular. Make sure to get fresh air and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Finnish nature by going on a hike. 

Do you want to go to a concert, a movie, a museum, or to the theatre? Find information about cultural events and places to visit within your vicinity. Remember to show your student card as most museums offer a student discount.

Erasmus Student Network

"Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe, founded in 1989 for supporting and developing student exchange. ESN is nowadays present in over 1,000 Higher Education Institutions from 40 countries, offering services to about 220,000 students - mainly on a volunteer basis. ESN supports and develops student exchange from different levels and provides an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot access a period abroad ("internationalisation at home")." - ESN Turku

Check out different events and popular Lapland trips arranged by ESN in Turku and Vaasa. Students from Poietarsaari and Raasepori are welcome to take part in trips and events organised by ESN in Vaasa and Turku.
