The user account is created no earlier than the 1st of August for students starting their studies in autumn 2024.  

After the registration, you will receive a message to your private email address containing information and instructions on how to activate your account.

The account is activated by logging on to Novia Self Service Portal with Finnish bank codes or a Finnish mobile certificate. You can reset your password via Novia Self Service Portal in case you forget it.

If you do not have Finnish bank codes, nor a Finnish mobile certificate, you must identify yourself before your IT account is activated. The Student Services offers different options for identification: on campus, via Teams meeting or via an mobile application. Please contact Student Services at studentservices@novia.fi for further instructions on how to identify yourself and how to activate your account/reset your password.
