CATALIS

Cross-program Adoption and Transfer of Arctic Low-carbon Ice-resilient Solutions

Om Projektet

CATALIS is a transnational project co-funded by the European Union through Interreg Northern Periphery & Arctic, bringing together seven institutions from Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland.

Building on results from two previous Interreg projects, Ar2CorD (low-carbon concrete and freeze-thaw durability) and OFFwind (offshore wind coatings and ice-structure interaction), we produce practical guidance, run a field demonstration at the Narvik harbour exposure station, and establish a Transnational Arctic Durability Network connecting researchers, practitioners, and public authorities across the NPA region.

Målsättning

Our goal is to make proven Arctic infrastructure research usable in practice, for the engineers, planners, infrastructure owners, and public authorities who build and maintain the region.
