Students learn to understand the importance of geospatial information for planning, construction, asset management, and decision‑making, and to identify the most relevant geospatial datasets and tools.

Goal:

After completing the course, the student will be able to: - understand the fundamentals of geospatial data - identify the most important geospatial datasets in the construction and real estate sectors - use geospatial data to support decision‑making - recognize the connection between geospatial data, BIM (Building Information Modeling), digitalization, and smart cities
