• The students command product knowledge, the composition of the products and active substances within skin care

• The students command the coloring of eyelashes and eyebrows

• The students understand the importance of and follow a good industrial hygiene

• The students are aware of the profession of a cosmetologist and the practical work in the field

• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes sustainable development


BC21MP01-3003, The Basics of Makeup, 3cr

Learning outcomes:

• The students have knowledge about the basic makeup techniques

• The students have knowledge about choices of different makeup techniques, colors and products

• The students are able to choose suitable colors and products for the client

• The students are familiar with different makeup tools and know how to use them

• The students can apply makeup for day, evening and party

• The students can apply makeup for men

• The students are familiar with the aseptic techniques in makeup

• The students understand the importance of and follow a good industrial hygiene

• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes sustainable development

BC21HC01-3003, Hair Design and Hair Care, 5cr

Learning outcomes:

• The students have knowledge about basic hair care, the structure and function of the hair

• The students are able to analyze the hair and scalp

• The students have knowledge about the four basic forms of hair sculpture

• The students can use tools and appliances within hair design

• The students command the basics of hair styling and blow drying techniques

• The students are aware of different hair styling and hair care products and their use

• The students are familiar with different kinds of special care products for hair and scalp

• The students are able to plan and recommend hair care treatment for the client

• The students are familiar with the aseptic techniques in hair care

• The students understand the importance of and follow a good industrial hygiene

BC21SC03-3001, Style Consultation for Men, 5cr

Learning outcomes:
• The students are familiar with how a fashion show is executed
• The students have sufficient knowledge about hair, makeup and styling to arrange
a fashion show
• The students have the ability to create a look for one or several models
• The students are able to arrange a visually integrated fashion show together and
with other cooperated partners
• The students are able to plan, carry out and evaluate a fashion show as a project
• The students can compile a project report
• The students understand the importance of marketing for the project
• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes
sustainable development

BC21EV01-3002, Photography, 5cr

Learning outcomes:

• The students command camera technique

• The students can photograph using system cameras

• The students are familiar with photography equipment and can construct a photo studio

• The students can apply digital photo editing

BC21DI01-3002, Digital Images in Beauty Care, 5cr

Learning outcomes:

• The students know how to plan, to adapt and analyze different looks using digital image processing

• The students have knowledge about the programs Photoshop and InDesign and can use them to create different digital looks

• The students can use digital image processing for various working situations in Beauty and Cosmetics

BC21BH01-3003, Beauty and Health, 4cr

Learning outcomes:

• The students are familiar with internal and external beauty and body positivity and its role in the beauty industry

• The students understand how internal and external beauty affect the well-being of the client

• The students understand the significance of health, attained through healthy food and exercise, for the client´s well-being

• The students are familiar with and can apply different methods of improving the client's health through healthy food and exercise

• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes sustainable development
