The course ”Introduction to AI, 3 ECTS”, starts at the beginning of March 2024. It is designed to introduce you to the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and the latest AI tools that you can use in your daily life. The course is primarily aimed at working professionals who want to improve their skills in the rapidly evolving AI field, but it is open to everyone.

The course is free of charge and will be conducted online. It will consist of a combination of lectures, discussions, and practical exercises.

Register no later than 21st February. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the basics of artificial intelligence and its related concepts.
  • Learn to identify potential applications for AI.
  • Learn to utilize new AI tools in daily life.
  • Get a basic understanding of both the advantages and limitations of AI-based systems.
  • Get to know the ethical considerations and risks of AI.

Contents:

  • AI fundamentals: Machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks.
  • AI applications: Automation, data analysis, chatbots, image and sound generation, and AI agents.
  • AI tools and resources for small businesses.
  • Ethical considerations and risks of AI.

The lectures will be online during 6th March-24th April 2024:

  • 6th March 2024 at 4-6 pm
  • 13th March 2024 at 4-6 pm
  • 20th March 2024 at 4-6 pm
  • 27th March 2024 at 4-6 pm
  • 3rd April 2024 at 4-6 pm
  • 10th April 2024 at 4-6 pm
  • 17th April 2024 at 4-6 pm
  • 24th April 2024 at 4-6 pm
