- The 10 themes of civic orientation (Integration, Finnish Culture, Everyday Life and Working Life, Education, Family Life, Health and Wellbeing, Society and Civic Engagement, The Legal System and History of Finland) - Planning the implementation of civic orientation for immigrants - Introduction to leading group activities - Practical session with own language group (ev. with interpreter)
Goal
The student: - can serve as facilitator for civic orientation courses aimed at newcomers in Finland - is familiar with the national material for civic orientation and can use it appropriately - develops competencies in leading group activities
