Goal
The student - can assess and justify whether a stand is regeneration-ready - can choose the right tree species and renewal method taking into account biological, ecological and economic factors - can apply methods to ensure biodiversity in connection with forest regeneration - knows the importance of soil preparation for timber production and can choose the right soil preparation method - can plan water management in connection with soil preparation - can plan, carry out and lead forestry work - can assess the need for and plan the aftercare of newly planted seedling stands - can apply forest laws and directives related to stand establishment
