Goal
The Student: - can apply evidence-based knowledge and develop critical thinking as a foundation for nursing care and care giving in clinical practice - can apply the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care) in care work, and the Finnish classification system of care work - can interact with clients/patients and their relatives in various situations - has the ability for professional interaction in interprofessional teams - understand the concept of global competence and its significance in today's world - can reflect on cultural and global perspectives - understands and can reflect on the ethical values, ethical guidelines, and profession-specific ethical codes of healthcare, and can act based on these in their future profession - can explain the organization of social and healthcare in Finland - has knowledge of social and healthcare legislation
