- application of social pedagogical theories in work with children of early childhood and school-aged children and with their parents - the child and childhood - childcare orientation, a child’s perspective and perspective of children - parenting and family - early attachment - resources and challenges in the family life of the children - preventive family work - child and family law - service forms for children and families - systemic orientation - participation-encouraging ways of working - resource-enhancing working methods - planning, implementation and evaluation of child or family activities
Goal
The student: - can apply the social principles of social pedagogy in work among children and families. - is able to plan, implement and evaluate social pedagogical activities with groups of children. - has knowledge of living conditions of children and families, as well as their resources and need for support in everyday life. - can support development and promote participation among children and families by applying resource-enhancing methods.
