The students - are familiar with genes, gene expression and genetics - understand the role of genes in protein synthesis - master basic genetic calculations - master terminology of molecular biology - have knowledge of fundamental methods in molecular biology - are familiar with the main sources of information related to molecular biology - understand the importance of molecular biology within bioanalysis
