Accepting Your Study Place
Admission results
Admission results are published at different times depending on the application route and degree programme. Admitted applicants receive their admission offer by email from Studyinfo. Check your email regularly, including your spam and junk folders. Contact the Admissions Services if your e-mail address has changed.
- For rolling admission, results are published throughout the application period, usually within 1–2 weeks of each entrance exam round.
- For the joint application, results are published continuously from the end of February and no later than 31 May 2027.
- For the separate application to Fine Arts, results will be published no earlier than 10 June 2027.
Accepting your study place
If you are offered a study place, you will receive your admission offer by email from Studyinfo. Please follow the instructions in the email to accept your study place in My Studyinfo by the stated deadline. Your deadline for accepting the study place is stated in the admission notice sent from Studyinfo and in the My Studyinfo service. If you do not accept the offered study place by the deadline, you will lose the study place. Accepting a study place is binding.
How to confirm your study place
- If you are an admitted student and you have a Finnish personal identity code and Finnish online banking credentials (with e-identification enabled), mobile certificate or an electronic ID-card, you accept the admission offer by logging in to the My Studyinfo service. At the same time, you should register as attending (present) or non-attending (absent) for the academic year. If your admission is subject to a condition, you cannot register for attendance before the conditionality of your admission is removed.
- If you are an admitted student but you do not have a Finnish personal identity code, you will receive an e-mail including a secure link through which you can accept your study place in the My Studyinfo service. The acceptance e-mail with the secure link will be sent to the e-mail address entered in the application form. Contact the Admissions Services if your e-mail address has changed. At the same time, you can register as attending (present) or non-attending (absent) for the academic year. If your admission is subject to a condition, you cannot register as attending or non-attending before the conditionality of your admission has been removed.
Notice! If you cannot use the My studyinfo service to accept your study place electronically, please contact the Admissions Services by e-mail to request a form.
Accepting a study place is binding and you cannot change or cancel it after accepting. You can accept only one study place leading to a higher education degree in Finland per academic term (1 August - 31 December or 1 January -31 July). If you accept a study place, all your other possible admission offers for higher educational studies beginning in the same term will automatically be cancelled. More information about the one study place per term provision can be found on Studyinfo.
When accepting a study place leading to higher educational degree any previously granted study rights in Finland at the same or a lower level will be terminated. Read more about the one study right rule on Studyinfo.
