In Finland, the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity (TENK) was established in 1991 by the Ministry of Education and Culture to address ethical issues related to scientific research and to promote research ethics.

Novia University of Applied Sciences is committed to following TENK’s recommendations regarding good scientific practice, the handling of suspected violations of these practices, and ethical review in human sciences.

Responsible conduct of research

In cases of suspected violations of responsible conduct of research, the recommendations of the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity (TENK) are applied.
