About the project
College and the Musical Academy at Strömbäck Folk High School in Umeå.The project aims to develop higher education teaching in the field of musical theatre at the programme in Jakobstad. The tradition of music and theatre is strong in the region, and it is natural that higher education also seeks development elements that can support and strengthen this field of education. Cooperation across the Kvarken can contribute to strengthening the art and cultural life of the entire Finland-Swedish region.
