INDUSTRY NORDIC - Towards Nordic Industrial Scale Manufaturing of Non-Wood Forest Products

Interreg Botnia Atlantica

Period: 1.5.2015 - 30.11.2018

Content: The aim of the project is to develop the Nordic natural products industry. Development is achieved through increasing the processing level of local raw material among small enterprises in order to offer products for large international markets. In the project the market potential of products is researched and new production methods are investigated and optimized. In the latter case as well as in production in general, access to fast and cheap measurement results is of great importance. The project will therefore assess near-infrared spectroscopy as fast, enviromental friendly and versatile measuring technique for process streams of organic material.
