About the project
The project, which is funded by the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland, seeks to investigate how landscape configuration and access to critical food resources (willow) in the spring together with flower resources later in the year dictate wild bumblebee (Bombus spp.) population sizes in Finnish agricultural landscapes. The field work is done in consultation with farmers and the rural administration in South Ostrobothnia.
