Novia University of Applied Sciences has signed a new lease agreement with the property owner Fastighets Ab Kustregionens utbildningsfastigheter for Campus Raseborg. The lease agreement is valid until 30 June 2031.

In connection with the agreement, Novia will adjust its use of premises to meet decreasing needs. Some of the facilities on the first floor of the campus will be vacated already on 30 June 2026. Further adjustments to the premises will be made from summer 2028. Operations will continue in the main building after this.

Activities at Campus Raseborg

At Campus Raseborg, degree programmes are offered in Civil and Construction Engineering (with specialisation in Structural Design or HVAC Engineering), Construction Management (Construction Manager), and Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering, as well as programmes within bioeconomy including Bachelor of Natural Resources in Sustainable Coastal Management and Master of Natural Resources in Natural Resources Management.

The bioeconomy programmes still have older study groups in Forestry Engineering and Agriculture and Rural Industries based in Raseborg during autumn 2026. Research and development activities within bioeconomy will also continue in Raseborg. The Bachelor’s programme in Natural Resources, Sustainable Coastal Management, is planned to start in Turku from 2027.

“The extension of the lease provides peace of mind for staff while signalling our ambition to continue contributing to competence development in the region. The reduction in premises will also lead to significant cost savings,” says Rector and CEO Örjan Andersson.
