Nominate Novia's Alumni of the Year 2027
For the third consecutive year, Novia University of Applied Sciences is inviting nominations for Alumni of the Year. Through this award, we wish to highlight people who inspire others, contribute to the development of their field, engage in society, and strengthen the Novia community.
Over the past years, we have received many excellent nominations. This demonstrates the many ways in which our alumni make an impact and the strong commitment to recognizing their achievements. Since the award was established, alumni have been acknowledged for their accomplishments and engagement.
Criteria for Alumni of the Year
The Alumni of the Year is a person who makes a difference through their professional work, community involvement, or entrepreneurial activities. The person is active within their field or engaged in society and has maintained a connection with Novia after graduation by participating in alumni activities, contributing to the development of the university, or otherwise strengthening the relationship between Novia and working life.
Who can nominate?
Anyone can submit a nomination. You may be an alumni, student, staff member, partner, or friend of Novia.
How and when can nominations be submitted?
The nomination period is 1 October to 30 November 2026.

Who selects the Alumni of the Year?
The decision on who receives the Alumni of the Year award is made by Novia's Rector based on a proposal from a nomination committee consisting of the Heads of Degree Programmes, the Vice Rector, the Director of Communications, and the Alumni Coordinator.
When will the Alumni of the Year be announced?
Alumni of the Year 2027 will be announced during spring 2027. The announcement will be made through a press release and Novia's social media channels.
