Novia University of Applied Sciences has welcomed new students for the academic year 2025–2026, and expectations for the year are high among both new students and staff. This year, just over 1,460 students are starting their studies at Novia, which is slightly more than in recent years.

“We are pleased to welcome all our new students. The demand for graduates from Novia is high, and we have therefore increased admissions in recent years. We contribute to ensuring that there is a competent workforce available in our regions,” says President Örjan Andersson.

Novia continues to focus on student well-being. The university is maintaining its investment in student well-being, and measures are being taken to support well-being within the university community. The student guidance team, including the study psychologist, continues its work and is easily accessible to students.

Of the more than 1,460 new students, 940 are starting as full-time students, 314 as blended learning students, and 206 in Higher UAS or Master’s programmes.

During the first weeks, new students have participated in various introductory activities at the university. On Novia’s website, there is a collection of information for new students, including practical tips and important things to consider before starting their studies. The aim is to give all students at Novia the best and most prepared start possible to their studies.
