Novia University of Applied Sciences has launched a new logo and visual identity, as well as a new concept for marketing communications, developed in collaboration with the design agency Agency Leroy, staff, and students. The new profile will gradually appear in the university’s communication channels and in the materials produced by Novia during the autumn of 2026.

The previous logo and visual identity have been in use since 2008, the year when Novia UAS began its operations. With the new visual identity, Novia aims to clarify its expression and further strengthen its position as a modern and attractive university of applied sciences.

With the brand promise “Novia gör skillnad – Novia makes a Difference”, the university demonstrates its ambition to provide future‑oriented education by helping students and partners navigate a rapidly changing world.

In Novia’s new logo, the initial N merges with the Delta symbol (Δ), a symbol representing change and development, symbolizing Novia’s role in creating and shaping the future.

Novia provides students and professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to make a difference. Through high‑quality education, applied research, and innovation, we meet the evolving needs for meaningful careers and a sustainable society. Novia exists to provide society with competent and driven individuals who are ready to make a lasting impact.

With more than 400 employees and 5,200 students, Novia aims to equip its customers with the ability to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

“The central aspect is not the new logo, but the work we have done together with our entire staff to crystallize what we stand for and what our promise is as a responsible university and dynamic actor. We want to strengthen our message and mark a new phase by launching our new brand at the same time,” says Örjan Andersson, President of Novia.

“Over the course of about a year, Novia worked closely with our strategic communication and design partners to develop a modernized visual identity that reflects our operations, our vision, and our Nordic profile. The work included updating the logo’s usage and guidelines, expanding and making the colour palette more flexible, and refining typographic and graphic elements to create a coherent and clear visual whole,” says Communications Director Jenny Svartsjö.

The identity will be fully launched during the autumn of 2026. The result is a modern, sustainable, and flexible visual identity that strengthens Novia’s brand.

“Our brand reflects the development of our operations and the ambition that drives us forward. This launch is not only about a new appearance; it reflects who we are and the impact we want to make,” Andersson continues.

More than 5,300 students and around 400 employees contribute daily to shaping sustainable solutions, strengthening competence supply, and building the working life of the future. Together with industry and an active alumni network, we build bridges between studies, working life, and society.
