Now you have the chance to hear researchers from universities and colleges in Vaasa talk about recent scientific findings and show how they work locally to solve global problems. You can also take the opportunity to hear about what researchers elsewhere in Finland are investigating.

Welcome to discover the world of research at the Arts and Science Carnival in Vaasa!

The Science Carnival in Vaasa will be held on November 7–8, 2025, organized by the Society of Swedish Literature in Finland in collaboration with Hanken School of Economics, University of Helsinki/Faculty of Law, Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, City of Vaasa, University of Vaasa, Novia University of Applied Sciences, and Åbo Akademi University.

Over the course of two days, you can attend lectures, interviews, and panel discussions at Vaasa City Hall, Vaasa Main Library, and Rewell Shopping Center. The full program will be published soon!
