Time: 09.00-16.00
Place: Jakobstad or Vaasa

The games can be video games, board games or card games!

Global Game Jam is, like the name suggests, a worldwide event. People at sites all over the planet get together and create games in teams around a theme that is revealed when the game jam starts. Our jam site is arranged in collaboration with Finnish Game Jam as a part of our ongoing Interreg Aurora project Borderless Game Academy.

This year students of Novia will be granted one study credit for taking part in the jam and uploading a game or prototype for a game at the end of the jam!

Join us in Jakobstad or Vaasa!

This game jam is free and suited for everyone interested in or curious about creating games, no previous experience needed!

Please note that everybody over the age of 18 is welcome to join so if you know someone outside of Novia that could be interested, ask them to join in! Register no later than 25th January.

The jam takes place at Campus Allegro Friday 26.1 (17-23), Saturday 27.1 (9-23) and ends on Sunday 28.1 at 18.00 (Sunday also starts at 9).
