Goal
The student needs to have A basic understanding of the geotechnical properties of the soil and rock Understanding of the importance of geotechnics for dimensioning basic structures and from the whole point of view of construction Knowledge of how and why soil surveys are conducted Knowledge of how basic geotechnical analyzes are performed Knowledge how to calculate slope stability and soil pressure
