- diagnoses and living conditions for people with disabilities in different life situations - the service user perspective, the family- and kinship perspective, legal certainty and participation - social counselling, service systems, forms of support and processes - assistive tools and accessibility for people with disabilities - alternative and supplementary communication
Goal
The student: - has knowledge of various disabilities as well as the impact of disabilities on an individual's living conditions. - can guide people with disabilities in terms of rights and forms of service. - can promote participation, self-determination and functional ability among people with disabilities. - is able to consider accessibility aspects in client work and knows about alternatives and supplementary communication.
