- fractions - powers - polynomials - square roots, roots - absolute values - first-degree equations - rational expressions and equations - second-degree equations - the concept of a function - linear functions, straight lines and their properties - second-degree functions and their properties, parabolas - systems of equations - exercises with MathCad and CAS calculators
Goal
The student will be able to: - use basic calculation rules and formulas to simplify and process mathematical expressions - solve polynomial and rational equations - solve linear equation systems algebraically and graphically - construct and analyse first- and second-degree functions - formulate and solve mathematical problems based on the above points - use technical aids for calculations and graphs (e.g. MathCad and CAS calculators)
