Promoting spatial literacy with GeoDay Raseborg 2025

About the project

The third week of November is geography awareness week and a multitude of activities are organized all across the globe to celebrate spatial data and their crucial role in sustainable decision-making.

Novia is organizing a GeoDay event on campus Raseborg on November 20th with a full day programme (link below) including
- guest lectures from agriculture, forestry, construction, engineering, seafaring and gaming;
- hands-on demo of aerial, underwater and surface drone, GPS, Total Station, VR and AR
- students seminar

There will also be posters from master students about their use of GIS in their studies and conversation with professionals in the industry about career opportunities around coffee.
The event is free of charge and coffee included.
