Forskningsomrade Kultur som forandringskraft

FolkmusikForum i Österbotten

About the project

Folkmusikforum i Österbotten seeks to support folk music education by increasing knowledge with the help of bilingual study paths for people interested in folk music. In addition, the project aims to strengthen expertise in early music education.

Project goal

The project aims to make study paths in folk music-based music education visible to the target groups of primary schools, music schools and early childhood education. We also aim to be able to offer a course tray with various continuing education modules within Novia's and Centria's open higher education programmes as well as a material package in early childhood education. The project also aims to collaborate with existing organisations in the field of folk music.
