Biomaterial Packages
Seminar about biopackages for food, 21.3.2018 at 13:00 – 16:30, Novia University of Applied Sciences, Raseborgsvägen 9, 10600 Ekenäs, room C198-199. The Seminar is held in English!
We have to get rid of fossil oil based plastics in food packaging and the biopackages are now replacing the plastic. Researcher Hanna Koivula from University of Helsinki will present what requirements there are for packages for different kind of food as vegetables, berries, meat etc. Some companies will also present and demonstrate their products during the seminar. Researcher Markus Joutsela from Aalto University will have a presentation about the importance of design of food packaging in marketing and sales.
