FilmInd - Indian film industry as a driver of new socio-economic connections between India and Europ

This project attempts to understand the mobilization of European locations in
Indian cinema, linking these practices to the contexts of
tourism, diplomacy, cultural connections and new economic opportunities for
investment and employment.
In order to promote and support local and regional development in Europe and
India through the Indian film industry, the research that
is conducted in the project will be translated into a workshop instrument open
for use by interested stakeholders in Europe or India,
including local authorities, policy makers, businesses (both from the creative
industries and from other), non-governmental
organisations, academics and citizens.
