Employers and working life actors can participate in the programme in several ways. There is no single collaboration model, it can be tailored to your organization or personal interests:

Possible collaboration formats include:

  • Act as a guest lecturer and share insights on a relevant topic
  • Offer a one‑day job shadowing opportunity for one or several programme participants
  • Arrange a company visit and introduce your organization and industry
  • Share a thesis topic so we can help find a suitable student
  • Participate as a mentor and gain insight into the perspectives of international students

You can take part in one activity or build longer‑term cooperation, the programme coordination supports you in finding a collaboration format that works best for you.

The Vaasa International Talents Programme is jointly arranged by five universities in Vaasa: University of Vaasa, Vaasan ammattikorkeakoulu VAMK University of Applied Sciences, Novia University of Applied Sciences, Åbo Akademi University and Hanken School of Economics.

This joint effort falls under the operations of the Vaasa Consortium of Higher Education.

Participants of Vaasa International Talents are international degree students who:

  • Are motivated to learn about Finnish working life
  • Have actively chosen to take part in the programme
