General Information and registration

Welcome to the Finnish Agroforestry Summit that is held 19.3.2026 in Raasepori! 

Registration
Registration for the event will open on 1.12.2025 and close on 28.2.2026: https://network.novia.fi/Events/364/Apply

There is no charge to participate in the event. However travel and accommodation are at your own expense.

• For the DigitAF session in the afternoon: Michael has planned for this to be interactive. Bring a laptop and you will have the chance to try the tools for yourself. If you do not bring a laptop, we are sure that there is a chance you can see another's screen and even try yourself too.

*Update: Lunch and coffee will be provided free of charge for participants on behalf of the Agroforestry in Nyland and DigitAF projects*

Poster presentation
There will be an opportunity to participate with a poster. If you are interested, please let us know when you register and we will contact you!

13:00 - 14:00 | Parallel Session 2: DigitAF (DIGItal Tools to Boost Agroforestry) Horizon Europe Project. Michael den Herder from EFI and DigitAF presents a few tools, such as a carbon calculator, and co-hosts discussion about digital tools in agroforestry with attendees.

• Bring a laptop to try the tools during this interactive session. If you do not bring a laptop, we will find a way for you to participate!

Transport

The Agroforestry Summit will be held at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Raasepori (Tammisaari). The address is Raaseporintie 11, 10600 Tammisaari.

You can get to Novia by train or bus, for example. We suggest you take the train to Karjaa and then the local train to Tammisaari, which arrives at 07:53. From there, it is a short walk to the campus.

At the end of the day, you can choose either the train departing at 16:07 or 18:07 from Tammisaari.

Accommodation

Be sure to book accommodation in Tammisaari (Ekenäs), as Raasepori consists of three different municipal areas!
