Sustainable Energy Systems - An Excursion in Northern Europe
The course Sustainable Energy Systems is a practically-oriented on-site experience of what is the present-day situation regarding the sustainable production of energy in Northern Europe. In the third year of studies, the students will make a several days long journey to get acquainted with different ways of utilizing resources like wind, sun and biomass to achieve significant levels of a sustainable energy production. Meeting with experts will give in-depth information and ample opportunity to ask questions. The goal is to give the student a realistic first-hand experience and understanding of possibilities and limitations encountered in today's sustainable production of energy.
