Forskningsintressen
Mina forskningsintressen täcker ett brett fält inom ekologin inklusive populationsbiologi, klimatforskning och beteendeekologi. Mitt nuvarande huvudsakliga post doc projekt heter ”Ejdern som indikator för Östersjöns hälsotillstånd” och finansieras av Maj och Tor Nesslings stiftelse. I det här projektet klargör jag de komplexa orsakerna till ejderpopulationens snabba tillbakagång i Östersjön. Min doktorsavhandling handlade om hur klimatet påverkar fåglars livscykel – speciellt häckningen – och hade titeln ”Climate forcing avian life history”.
Övrigt
Jag är också föreståndare för Hangö fågelstation därifrån det värdefulla flyttningsdatat som använts av mig och mina kolleger i många publikationer härstammar från.
