Anna Granberg, Head of Degree Programme: responsible for administration and student counselling. Teaching social and political aspects of coastal management, responsible for e-learning. Has a Masters in Social Sciences and been working with sustainable development in local governments and companies for ten years before starting at Novia in 2009. Urban development, participatory planning and waste management are areas that she is especially burning for.
Purba Pal, Senior Lecturer: teaching environmental aspects of coastal management, responsible for international affairs, traineeship and exchange studies. Has a doctoral degree in Zoology and previously worked at University of Lund and Swedish Museum of Natural History. She loves teaching (anything but statistics), music, good books and films. Also cares deeply for sustainable living and equity.
